It was just before daybreak, and Suvia was creeping about outside the castle, as she always did. She was whispering through a hole in the castle wall to one of the other youngsters. "I swear!" she hissed, pressing her muzzle against the stones. "I saw them!" "You shouldn't have gone so far, Suvie!" "Psh. You sound like my mother. Anyway. They were so much smaller!" "Come back in and sleep, Suvie." "But I'm not--" "I'm tired, Suvie." the cat whined, and with a rustle she could see his eye no longer. "Fine!" she hissed, still keeping her voice low. "Fine!"
Suvia lay on a fallen stone just outside the door, her chin on her paws, tail twitching angrily. She hadn't mentioned, however, that she'd almsot died on the way home. Clumsy, that's what she was. Suvia wrinkled her nose, sighing.

It may have been early, but Shade was on duty. He sat at his perch high on the tower, scanning the ground below for potential danger. When Suvia had come back, she hadn't been hard to spot with her white and gray pelt. He may not have been a royal guard, but it was still his job to make sure all of the cats in the castle were safe so he decided to go down and question the heiress.
It took him a few moments to make his way down to where Suvia was and when he finally arrived, she'd just finished talking to the other young cat. "Lady Suvia," he called out in his husky voice. "Might I ask why you were out so late?"

The familiar calico pelt of the other sentry made it's way out of the forest, he had been off duty and wanted to go on a small patrol. In the meanwhile he had caught a large plump rabbit that had been gnawing on the green grasses around the Lilly ponds. The white rabbits soft fuzzy fur wanted to make him spat out the rabbit and paw at his tongue, there would be time for that later. Turning he almost ran into the heiress as he padded along, he couldn't smell anything but rabbit. His eyes widened and he took a step back, dipping his head at her in respect. "Mafm" Gah! He dropped the rabbit and turned to her again, "Madam?" He looked to her friend and nodded to her. Just then Shade appeared and he nodded at the tom, the current sentry on duty.

*<*Despite the lies that you're making
A white she-cat woke and heard the voices not to far away. Her blue gaze looked through a crack and she quickly summed up the situation. She set up a plan and told herself the story over again in her head. Carefully she stuffed leaves in her pelt hiding her as she slipped out into the forest she shook them off and made a careful circle around. She found the plant she was looking for and chomped down on them and held them in her mouth as she ran into the group directly behind Suvia. She dropped them saying "She's with me she was helping me find peppermint sir ". She didn't meet her sister's eyes her mind was on getting them both out of the trouble Suvia had caused.
Your love is mine for the taking*>*

"Oh, hello, I was...I was just..." The black and white cat stood for a moment or two, gaping slightly. She heard another cat bounding toward them, and her spirits were lifted at the sound of her sibling's voice. Suvia shook herself, plopping back down to a sitting position.
It wasn't the first time the first-born Ghostflower had gotten her out of trouble. She nodded to the sentries, keeping her eyes to her paws. "Oh, yes!" Suvia said quickly, glancing at her sister. "Sorry I couldn't find any," she added, attempting to make the lie somewhat more believeable.

Shade nodded to Ace when he joined them and looked back to Suvia as she tried to explain. He sat down and wrapped his fluffy tail around his paws and looked over when Ghostflower appeared. He bowed his head respectfully to the second heiress and narrowed his eyes suspiciously at her explanation, but it wasn't his place to question it. "Very well," he meowed and stood up again. "If you two are going to train today, perhaps you should go get some rest before the sun gets too high," he suggested.

*<*My love is just waiting
"Yes, we will" she looked to her sister who had now stepped in to help out."Its fine I found plenty, you could help me take it to the healers though" she said smoothly. Hood would most likely be pretty mad if he found out and most of the time he could tell if Ghostflower was lieing or not. She dipped her head to both of the the older cats in respect then she grabbed some peppermint but she left enough for Suvia to take after her. She looked back to see if the suspicious cats would follow them. She wondered why her sister had left in the night when it made no sense to do so but she didn't dare question her sister so soon.
To turn your tears to roses*>*

Ace
The white bellied calico tom cat watched Suvia as she struggled to come up with an excuse for wandering the grounds. He smirked, his white canines barely visible on his amused face. The heiress seemed to be the adventurous type. Like me when I was young he remembered. He perked his ears and lifted his nose into the breeze as the sound of another cat approached. It was Ghostflower. He dipped his head and gazed at the peppermint in her jaws. 'Very Well'. Ace decided he would let the younger sentry take the lead on this one. Ace watched as Ghostflower moved away and waited for her younger sister to follow. "If you don't mind ladies, I can escort you back." He nodded towards the rabbit "I was going to bring this for yous."
