Stargazer shook her head. "Copperstar is..." she coughed lightly. She'd never said anything off about Rojor when she was a rogue, at least not until he died. She couldn't bring herself to say anything about Soulstar.
Silversun would have said something, she told herself. But that was Silversun's one quirk Stargazer could never bring herself to use.

"Nothing." she said, shrugging. "Shall we..." Another pause. "Return to camp? Or, perhaps you could help me gather prey I have hidden? It wouldn't--" Stargazer shrugged. "Unless you're busy, comrade."

Shadowmoon looked curiously at Stargazer when she started speaking. He felt a little bit of suspense build up when she didn't finish her sentence only to have it shattere when she changed the subject. Curiosity burned in his belly, but he wouldn't bother an older warrior.

"I've got nothing else going on, I could help you gather your prey," he offered with a nonchalant shrug. He looked at Stargazer with his eyes narrowed slightly in thought. The gray warrior always seemed to be lost in some sort of thought. She seemed rather distant from her Clanmates most of the time and it wasn't a trait the black tom necessarily found 'normal'.

"Well then." Stargazer smiled widely at Shadowmoon. "I hid them in some ferns along the creek. It isn't too far from here, surely," she added, then turned slowly on her heel and padded slowly in the direction of the creek, the light scent of water less than obvious on the breeze.

Copperstar. cocky little beast.

She caught his eyes once, when she glanced back to see if he was to follow. He's curious, she thought. She couldn't decide what the gaze could possibly be of. It was strange, for her; she was good at reading faces. Stargazer stumbled slightly over an upturned root, suddenly knocked out of her thoughts.
"Oh! Oh, here." she mumbled subconsciously, pawing aside the ferns to reveal a few rather large mice and a bird.

Shadowmoon had started following her and was looking at her as he walked. However, once she turned around and caught him looking, he glanced away. A slight smile formed on his face when the gray she-cat tripped, but he didn't laugh. Looking down at Stargazer's catch, he nodded slightly. "Nice catch," he commented. He stood back from the small pile of fresh-kill and waited for his clanmate to take what she could first. After all, it was her catch.

"Thank you." Stargazer said, a small smile on her features. Her lips twitched with it as she ducked her head down, picking up the mice by their tails, as there was only three, and turned in the direction of camp.
She paused for a moment, again, but without a thought in her mind. Stargazer glanced back once before padding toward camp, keeping a steady gait that could have easily been described as a stroll.
