Sootstar wandered aimlessly around the rapid falls, just walking in a circle. Her mind seemed to trail off into all different directions, up, dpwm, side to side. Who would care about Sparrowfang and I, who would care, starclan no longer cares, so why would everyone think it's not right? she sighed and stopped pacing in circles. She sat down, the spray from the waterfall had already dampened her coat, she gave her shoulder a few licks, her tail thumping as it his the sodden earth. She spun around when she thought she herd a small rustle in the bushes. Sootstar shook her head I'm so stressed i'm hearing things! Ha!

Sparrowfang's voice soon followed the rustle that Sparrowstar had heard. "Stress of being leader gettin' to ya?" he asked before poking his head through the bushes. He had a grin on his face to show he was teasing as the former ThunderClan cat emerged completely and went to sit about a tail length away from Sparrowstar. He was facing her with his head tilted slightly and his tail wrapped around his paws as he waited for her reaction to his appearance.

Sparrowfang! Sootstar nearly jumped out of her fur at his question You scared me! a nervous laugh escape her throat. She walked over to the tom, pressing her nose to his, Sootstar stopped for a second to ponder her answer Yeah, I think so... she let her voice trail off. Sootstar stood in front of the light tawny tom, her ghostly blue eyes glistened in the dim reflected sunlight What brought you here, Sparrowfang? she said, slinking closer to the gap between him and the water fall. She sat with her tail thumping against the dirt, she waited silently for his reply, she let a small grin play across her face.

Sparrowfang gave a slow nod to her answer and shrugged as a first response to the question. "Well, I noticed you leave camp and followed your scent trail here. I just wanted to see what was up," he explained. He watched her move closer to the space between him and the waterfall and wanted to warn her to watch her step, but he stopped himself. Sparrowstar was a grown warrior, the leader nonetheless, she could watch out for herself.

Sootstar's eyes shifted around following the small droplets in the waterfall's mist. She heard Sparrowfang's response loud and clear, but she stayed silent, her eyes still following the mist droplets. Sootstar snapped out of her little trance, and looked the tom directly in the eyes Aha, There's not really anything up, I usually come out here often to ponder some things... she trailed off again Should I ask him? or should I not? she stared at her paws for a second then stood, she could feel her back paws slip in the thick mud and simply pulled her paw up if it got too deep. Sparrowfang gave her the 'Be careful' look, but he stayed quiet. Sootstar finally was fed up with the mud and just walked foreward to sit next to the tawny tom Should I? or is our relationship not far enough along... now her own thoughts trailed off What would happen if I put Moonshine in charge?

The ticked tabby tom looked at Sootstar and then shifted his gaze to the falls as she replied. He gave a small nod, her reason made sense. When he was younger and doubting his place in RiverClan, he often came here to think things over as well. However, he'd never been here at the same time as another cat before. As Sparrowfang looked back to Sootstar, he noticed her wrestling with the mud before giving up and coming to sit beside him. She seemed thoughtful about something, though he wasn't quite sure what it was. "Something on your mind?" he asked casually.
