Part 1:
The noble ThunderClan leader, Soulstar.
The mighty, if not tiny, ShadowClan leader, Cloverstar.
Cats knew they were friends but no cat would imagine that the leaders were close enough to fall for each other.
And that's just what happened one day at four creeks. That was the same day Cloverstar fell into the frigid water. She promised to head right back and dry off, but she went hunting instead. As a result, she came down with whitecough.
Though she had tried to hide her symptoms, Silvermask and a few other Clanmates noticed and the medicine cat tried to get Cloverstar to rest to prevent what had started as a mild cough from getting any worse. She tries to confine Cloverstar to camp so one day when the leader sneaks out of camp, Silvermask follows her intending to bring her back out of the cold. But somewhere along the line, she loses the scent and winds up stumbling on a trespassing wolf. Cloverstar and Soulstar hear the growling and come to drive the wolf away. Soulstar begins fussing over Clover as she starts coughing and Silvermask notices that the actions are more than friendly and begins questioning the relationship between the leaders.
Around the same time, Riddle, a power hungry cat in ThunderClan also discovers Soulstar's love for Cloverstar and blackmails him into getting what they desire, threatening to tell the whole Clan of Soulstar's crime if he doesn't cooperate.
Meanwhile, it seems that _________, a young ThunderClan she-cat has fallen in love with Sousltar. She tries as hard as she can to get Soulstar to return the feelings, but to her dismay, the leader doesn't even seem to notice. She goes over to SpiritClan (See main plot) to get revenge on Soulstar for breaking her heart.
