The bangle leader watched with bright eyes as the clan stirred around him. Slight annoyance flashed through his mind as only one apprentice padded to the front of the crowd. Flicking his ears back he watched the apprentice, where were his companions? "Well then." He whispered to himself, "Now we will see if we can even get anywhere with this meeting." Looking down at Flyingkit he smiled, "Flyingkit, your mentor will be Shadowmoon." Stepping back Soulstar looked up to search the crowd for Jadestream, if he came forward when called then he would be the new deputy. "Jadestream? Come forward please."

Shadowmoon grinned and got to his paws when he was called to be Flyingpaw's mentor. He padded forward and quickly touched noses with his new apprentice before sitting down again as Soulstar started calling for Jadestream.

I'm finally an apprentice She thought excitedly and missed hearing Jadestorm's name being called. She jumped when Soulstar when he said Come forward please and she looked around confused. Who was supposed to go froward?
