She felt delicate flowers crinkle as she stepped over the years the place had lost its luster. She felt no wind she felt nothing there was no need to hunt if you where dead. She sighed and allowed herself to slip to earth for just a secound only to quickly draw back. She couldn't stay for long but she was working on it because the starclan could and they had followers so in the end she would need some for herself.We pick up the misfits, but if luck is on are side we will sway the whole forest.
She looked up her yellow eyes scanned the clearing for life any form she spent most of her time searching for cats to help her. She would prove to starclan once and for all that even though they had done bad things they deserved a place to live after they died.[/size]

Calm green eyes scanned the moon flower clearing as the crescent moon overhead slowly made its way across the sky. With a heavy sigh the darker colored long furred tom cat pushed himself up from his laying down position and stretched, flexing his long hook like claws. Padding calmly into the field he noticed that he was not alone in the vast nothingness. He smiled and walked up to Apoticstar. He spoke "You know mam' we don't need to eat for a long time really, but we still need to eat. And drink. That's why we have medicine cats." He smiled and stopped next to the darker colored leader. "We have Medicine cats for those who think they are immortal."[/color]

"Immortal huh, no ones immortal not even us " she said looking off into the distance recalling the terrifying memorie of killing her first 'dead' cat. She blinked and turned to look at the medicine cat. "Hmm but do you really want to be the medic en cat of killer's even after death some of them don't realize they have lost the way" she sighed. She knew she had done bad things but she had to hide it to keep every one under control. Dought was weakness uncertainty was weakness almost anything but cruelty was weakness. "Its fine that your soft you heal us so there's no biting the hand that feeds you". There was sadness in her voice , she didn't really want to be here if she could have taken the path to starclan she would have raced there in an instant but now it was to late there was to much anger and hate. Aphotic deliberately clawed at a flower watching it slice to peaces.

Fawncloud smirked and watched Aphoticstar as she spoke, he could tell she was sad. Finally he turned and gazed forward towards the moon. "I am a medicine cat of a clan not yet understood. Some of us have been murderers since birth, others of us have lived through a life of pain. Some have not done anything wrong." He paused and looked to his leader. "Many of us wonder why we have been sent to a clan of death, as it has been called. But fewer of us have actually realized that it isn't necessarily our bad deeds that has planted us here." He watched as the flower crumpled to the ground. "Few of us realize that we were placed here because we think differently than Starclan. Many say we are not noble or loyal enough, but we are to different causes." He looked to Aphoticstar again. "We ARE the other side of life. We ARE the darker side of good."[/color]

"Ahh but even so I feel lost some place I should not be.." she left of and her body suddenly hardened. The crack of emotion that had been there was now gone. She turned her now stone eyes elsewhere. She watched another mouse move and launched forward one claw held it and for an instant it struggled then lay limp. She ripped into it there was anger in her movements she vented it on the poor mouse who's heaven had suddenly dissapeared . Cats where the same she thought looking at the mouse, we run around like theres nothing to harm us and then wham were dead. "The darker side of good I like that " she said a smile on her lips. BUt inside she didn't share that joy but she had to move on push forward she had a clan the more or less followed her.

Fawncloud watched his leaders flicker of emotion vanish like the blink of an eye. His shoulders drooped, tail finally touching the ground, his hope of bringing the clan out of it's dark stage seemed to vanish before his eyes. He swallowed nervously as Aphoticstar launched forward and viciously attacked the mouse. He flicked his eyes away so he didn't have to watch the violent attack. I should get her some poppy seeds for tonight he thought as she spoke. Padding forward he stoped beside Aphoticstar and gazed at her, "If only some of our past ancestors." Ancestors of ancestors. Heh, "Hadn't given us the front of hate." He finally sat down and curled his long furred tail over his paws, the maine coon gazed towards the stars. "When I was part of Shadowclan, I was violent. I had a gift but ignored it. Now I changed and want to make a better life for myself." Even if I am already dead.

She realize she had lost herself again every now and then she would slip away. Her shell sometime overcame her."Sorry I forget myself" she mumbled. The she stared at Fawncloud "Hate must be there be cause we make it so, we need emotions to truly be alive but truly there is no such thing its just made up" she laughed hollowly. Then she looked away and as if giving in on some heavy burden she fell down."Fawncloud am losing myself" this was the first time she had been so open to anyone. The where tears trying to escape behind her eyes.Your weak why are you crying you fool do you want him to think your weak.She pushed the tears back but did not pull herself up.

Fawncloud swished his tail around to his other side, he gazed towards the stars, lost in his own 'medicine cat world'. "The clans believe that we, and Starclan are the only clans of their ancestors. What the do not know is that we live here to find our final destiny, or even to find eternal peace. We do not know the name of the place where Blackstar and Firestar reside, however when they feel we are worthy, they will tell us." He hadn't realized she had dropped down, even though he heard everything she said. He flitted to her side and pressed his pelt to hers, gazing into her eyes for a long moment. "You will not lose yourself Aphotic. So long as you have me around" He smiled at her and made an attempt to nudge her shoulder. "How were you when you were 'a clan cat'?"

Aphotic listened to Fawncloud and pulled herself together. "You will not lose yourself Aphotic. So long as you have me around". That made her look up and a bit of hope flew through her. She jumped up as he nudged her. "Hmm my life as a clan cat was a mix of anger and bad decisions I lost my way so badly that my friend was my demise. " she smiled fondly and sadly as she recalled her lost friendship. "It was probably for the best I never did get my nine lives" she said smoothly."For me sometimes the want for power is a hard master to break from".She stopped talking and then turn to Fawncloud with thanks."I am glad you are here am not sure what i'd do without you".

Fawncloud flicked his brown ears in her direction as she jumped up then spoke. He liked talking to Aphoticstar, even when she was upset or unsure about herself. He listened intently, remembering himself as a clan cat. "I was violent and rude, never really trusted anyone. I ignored any sign from our ancestors I got and threw it away." He flicked his ears back but perked them again when she started talking again. He smiled and nodded to Aphoticstar "Your a good leader, and friend. I don't know what I or the clan would do without you." He flexed his claws, stood and stretched, yawning as he did. "Have you been back to the clans since you got here?"

She could depend on him more than anyone else in the clan.Its a wonder starclan denied you.She washed the thought from her mind and flinched when Fawncloud spoke of the clan. "Briefly" she stopped thinking of the best way to explain it."My tie's there are weak my spirit has no reason to return so it is hard to stay because unlike the Starclan cats I am not at peace with myself,I watch from here where I feel at home "She felt liked shared to much. "I feel a bit appalled as to how Mokafang uses it, its his personal army builder but as they say keep your enemys closer than your friends maybe I feel I can change that cat" she sighed at her own idea's and then turned to Fawncloud."You wander around the grounds much?"

He regretted asking the question, but if one wanted to know something they should ask right? He kneaded the ground for a moment with his forepaws before turning to gaze at Aphoticstar while she spoke. Mokafang? I didn't know... He silently cursed himself for not paying much attention to the deputy of the clan. Not only was Mokafang Aphoticstar's responsibility but he was Fawnclouds too. After all if he became leader Fawn would have to deal with him. "I have visited only twice. Once to be sure the ones I hurt were continuing on with their lives and once to give advice to a struggling medicine cat." He flicked his ears down, he was ashamed at what he did in his past life. "Any way. What has Mokafang done?"

She nodded in understanding as he spoke of his times on earth. When his ears flicked down with sadness she hesitantly touched him with her tail in an attempt to comfort him.Today is sad day. Looking away she explained her deputy's movements. "She uses her ability for darker movements".Brings make memories... Sighing she pushed on "She tempts apprentices and uses them like pawns" She blinked and paused "Its a game this world is a game and right now Moka is messing with lives that are best alone".

Fawnclouds pale green eyes narrowed, anger sparking in his eyes. Mokafang... He scratched the ground, then turned his face towards the marks scored in the dirt and gazed at them. Like pawns. Messing with lives. That's no good. "Why would he do such a thing?" he whispered half to himself. Then he shook his head, "Cats like Mokafang are what gives this clan it's bad name." He turned his now kind gaze to Aphoticstar. "You have control to make him stop if you wish. If he is harming lives of others you should stop it. If he is manipulating lives of others. You should stop it." He flicked his ears back and looked to the sky. Sighing he closed his eyes. No one needs to be hurt, it's why I became medicine cat here. I want to end pain. "Or I will".

"Why would he do such a thing?". She left the question unanswered by her voice. Her amber eyes hinted that she had an idea but they to where partly shut to the outside world. Because within her grows hate and hate only creates more hate.. Aphotic nodded her head in agrement as he spoke f there reputation. It was a hard thing to hold and a fragile thing like trust. One wrong move and your back to square one. The atmosphere changed as Fawncoud directly addressed her. Though there was kindness there authority also shone through.I have been to light to kind I guess I should tighten my hold on my army. She shivered at the thought.You are leader of the Crescentclan show some back bone. Her thoughts stopped running through her head.
"Or I will". She whipped her tail in an arc as she almost shouted "No". I will not risk your death to solve my troubles. Her eyes hardened as she spoke harshly."That is an order Fawncloud".Her gaze did not lighten as she continued on."Do not undermine me " she growled." Your the only hope this clan has I...I will most likely perish will all the cats yearning for my position and if I am to die I need you to keep an eye on Mokafang and those who follow her to make sure that she doesn't create more harm than good "/ She stopped exhausted by what she had said. Silence fell and she twitched a paw nervously. She didn't like yelling at Fawncloud but it had to be done.
