The morning was calm, cool and quiet. Not many cats were up and about in camp. Many of the cats that were already awake were sitting quietly in the edges of the camp or out hunting or patrolling. The sun that peeked over the overhang made the frost on the ground glitter and sparkle. It was overall a pleasant and relaxing morning. That would never do.
Frostbird sort of exploded from the warriors den, leaping out and skidding to a halt about a tail length away from the entrance of the den. Her silvery white eyes scanned the camp to find a place to cause mischief or at least liven things up a little. Her tail flicked slowly back and forth behind her and the sun gave her fur a sort of glow as she spotted Morningpaw returning to camp dragging two rabbits with her. She had to remind herself not to mess with the apprentices too early in the morning; save that for the afternoon.
With a somewhat defeated sigh, Frostbird decided she might as well go get some breakfast if there wasn't any cat to bother. She trotted forward, passing Morningpaw who seemed to be going for a nap in the apprentices den and began nosing through the fresh-kill pile.

STormfeather jumped up. "Huh?! What?!" he meowed, concerned. Then he sneezed loudly. He tipped backwards as he sneezed, tripping over his herbs. He fell backwards with a bam. "Oopsy!' he meowed silently.
He sneezed a couple of times and scrambled up to his feet, but falling back down from unbalancement. He sneezed again as he landed with a thud. He let out a startled, mewl and asked with a mix of tiredness, awareness and surprise, "What? What's going on?"
He turned to Hazelmoon. "You little!" he spat in a whisper.

On her way to the fresh kill pile, a noise caught Frostbird's attention. When she heard the exclamations coming from the medicine den, she completely forgot about breakfast and made her way towards the medicine den.
"Problems, Stormfeather?" she asked as she peered inside the den. When she finally spotted the medicine cat, she raised an eyebrow at him and grinned playfully. "You konw, shouting like that is bound to wake up the entire camp if you're not careful."

Dusktalon walked into the overhang. He was alone having checked out one of the borders. It was resonably quiet untill he heard noises from th medicine cat's den. Dusktalon glanced around, not many cats were awake as of yet. He walked ove briskly to the den poking his head in. "Is everything alright in here?" He asked lowly. His eyes scanning the den some herbs scattered. He nodded to Frostbird.

Frostbird looked curiously at Dusktalon and then nodded in return. "I'm not sure just what happened, but something's got Stormfeather's tail in a knot," she mewed. One could tell by the tone of her voice that she found this all amusing. Or at the very least, the situation kept her from being bored. She took a step forward to sniff at a leaf that had landed less than a tail length in front of her and grinned when she recognized it. Catnip.
She resisted the urge to lick and roll on the leaf and simply took a step back to stand beside Dusktalon again.

Dusktalon looked to the ground at the leaf. The scent of it drifted to his nose. Immediatly he reconized it was catnip. Pushing the appeling scent away he turned to Stormfeather watching him with careful eyes. He too wondered what the medicine cat was up to. He sighed. "Stormfeather is there something we could help with?" The tom asked. Dusktalon glanced to Frostbird as she came to his side, stepping back from the leaf. He didn't show but he was amused at this.

"Well pardon me, wise medicine cat," Frostbird mewed with forced sincerity. With mild difficulty she turned around, bumping into Dusktalon a few times and possibly swiping someone lightly in the face with her tail. Then she loped back into the main camp and left Stormfeather to clean up his den. She ignored the part about him keeping his catnip, after all, he would need all of it if greencough appeared in the camp. It was leafbare. Besides, if she truly wanted any, she would go into the territory to find some rather than stealing from the medicine cat's stores.

Dusktalon sighed as Stormfeather hurried around the den cleaning and such. The medicine cat had been a little testy. He wondered if there was something else but Stormfeather asked for them to leave, more like demanded but the same idea. The warrior nodded. And he too when to turned but was hit in the face witha tail. He growled lightly and then turned and stepped into the cold of the day.

"Sorry, Dusktalon," Frostbird called over her shoulder and flicked her tail up a bit towards his face to show what she was sorry about. She made sure not to get his face again as she bounded forward and started sniffing at the fresh kill pile. Her white eyes flicked up and focused on Stormfeather as he left the camp. She assumed he was going to gather herbs and shook her head slightly. If he had an apprentice, perhaps he could send out the apprentice looking for herbs while Stormfeather tended to things around camp. She didn't like it when the only medicine cat left the camp. It made her nervous, like the apocalypse would strike while he was away. She shrugged off her fears, knowing that it probably wouldn't happen and sat back, the fresh-kill momentarily forgotten.
