Cloverstar grinned as she thought of her next reply. "Well it's okay. We she-cats understand that it's hard for you toms to focus when there are pretty she-cats around," she teased. Her pelt fluffed up slightly to add a dramatic effect to her statement. Her dusky green eyes glittered slightly with amusement and she seemed to be satisfied with the dryness of his pelt for she had stepped back and sat down. "And I could always just say I was just around the border and heard a 'splash'," she mused. She wasn't serious about making excuses to send over Silvermask, it was all just for agrument's sake.

Soulstar
Soulstar grinned and turned to look at the creek again, the deadly cold creek. "Pretty?" He mused, "I'd say beautiful but I might be crossing the line. IF there is a line." He stood and looked over his shoulder at Cloverstar before jumping over the Shadowclan creek and turning to pad towards the center of Four Creeks. The vast crystal clear pool welled up in front of him as he stopped at the edge and leaped onto the warm stone in the center. The stone and sun would help him dry his still damp pelt, but before he laid down he turned to see if Cloverstar was following.

Cloverstar smiled at his comment and shrugged. "I don't think there is a line anymore," she purred. A soft gasp escaped her when he jumped the creek as if she was afraid he would fall in again, but she relaxed when he landed on the other side of the creek. She stood up to follow him but her jump was just a bit too short and she wound up standing with her hind paws in the frigid water. She yelped slightly in surprise and hopped forward, shaking her wet paws as she tried to walk after Soulstar at the same time.

Soulstar
Soulstar's cheerful gaze flicked to horror as Cloverstar's back feet splashed into the water. He swished his tail back and forth before jumping back to shore and padding to Cloverstar's side. She was bucking and kicking, like a wild mustang. He flicked his ears back and waited a moment, he didn't want to get kicked. "Lets get to the warm stone!" he called over the trickling sound of the water and crunching under their paws. "You'll be okay. You'll be okay" he reassured her. He rested his tail over her shoulders and turned to lead her towards the center stone.

"I hate wet!" the small leader moaned after she'd stopped shaking her paws and followed after Soulstar. "I would never make it as a RiverClan cat," she muttered, still angry at the water for daring to touch her paws. A silly reason to be angry, but part of it was also from being embarassed at not making the jump in front of Soulstar. She allowed him to put his tail on her shoulders and guide her to the stone. Stupid water...

Soulstar
Soulstar paused at the edge of the creek, lifted his tail, and leaped over the slow moving creek. He landed on the other side, on the warm gray stone. Small wet paw prints spotted the stone where he landed and more appeared as he turned to wait for Cloverstar. He didn't want to say 'I'll be here if you fall again' Cloverstar might take insult to it. He instead seated himself and swallowed nervously. The sun rays bounced off of the smooth stone and onto Soulstars golden brown pelt, making him glow ever so slightly. His shoulders seemed a blaze as he shifted to warm his back.

Cloverstar waited for Soulstar to cross before jumping over to the rock. She landed gracefully in front of the tom and the sun bouncing off the rock made her light pelt glow instantly. She smiled slightly at him, triumphant that she'd made it across this time. She left only two wet prints behind from her hind paws and she went to sit beside Soulstar. "See, I don't always fall in," she joked.

Soulstar
Soulstar waited patiently as Cloverstar neared the waters edge, when she jumped he held his breath until she landed safely on the rock before him. He smiled and nodded "I don't doubt that". Turning he padded to the center of the rock where the suns rays seemed to be concentrated and laid down, his left side being sunned while his right stayed damp for the time being. Tail tip twitching he looked over his shoulder at Cloverstar, "The sun should dry us faster, that way no one asks about why we're wet, or damp, when we get back to camp." He smiled and laid his cheek back on the warm gray stone.

"And here I just thought you were a pretty face," Cloverstar cooed and grinned to show she was just kidding. "It turns out you have brains too! What a lucky she-cat I am," she continued as she went over to sit beside him. She gave his side a couple licks before settling down beside him and leaning so her right side was sunning and she was facing Soulstar.

Soulstar
Soulstar started to let out a low, happy purr as the sun started to warm his fur as well as Cloverstar's first comment. He opened his eyes as she padded over and sat down, spoke again, licked him, and finally laid down. He smiled and gazed at her for a moment, he wasn't quite sure what he should say, or could say. So he said nothing. Instead he reached out a dry paw and gently touched Cloverstars white one. He looked up and into Cloverstars eyes before speaking, "We're crazy." Then he gave a small sly smirk and spoke again, in a quieter tone, "But I don't care."

Cloverstar's eyes began to close from the bliss of being warm. She was beginning to doze when Soulstar reached out a paw and rested it on hers. She opened her eyes and looked at him while he spoke and smiled. "I don't care either," she purred. "Besides, who says crazy is a bad thing?" she mewed innocently. She gave her chest fur a few quick licks and fluffed it out experimentally before she seemed satisfied with her appearance and looked back up to Soulstar.

Soulstar
Soulstar's blue gaze was fixed on Clovers before shifting to their paws, he pulled his paw back to rub his ear. Yawning he nodded, good she doesn't care about being crazy. Turning to look at the sky he sighed, the sun seemed to be getting lower and lower in the sky. We should be getting back to our clans soon he thought sadly as he pulled his gaze to the soft glow on Cloverstar's fur. With a sigh Soulstar stood, turned around, and layed on his other side, still facing Cloverstar. Now his other site would dry before he got back. "We better get heading back to our clan soon" he voiced allowed. When can I see you again?

Cloverstar nodded slowly when he mentioned returning to the Clans. "You're right," she sighed and looked to the sky. "Can we meet here again in a couple days?" she asked, allowing a bit of hope to creep into her voice. Her dark green gaze slowly fell from the sky to rest on Soulstar. Her hind paws were dry and she was thoroughly warmed and ready for the trip back home. But she'd stay with the ThunderClan leader as long as she could before she absolutely had to get back.

Soulstar
The Bengal like leader stretched as he lay on his side, his pelt finally dry and fuzzy looking. Turning his gaze on Clover star he nodded, "A couple of days would be nice." If it was sooner the clan would become suspicious. He smiled at her before yawning and pushing himself to his paws, the sun now officially setting in the clear blue sky. His long tail, covered in lover fur, draped neatly over the rock looked like a static ball when he pulled it to his side. Looking over to Cloverstar he spoke "Leafbare is finally here, and with that the water will be colder. Can't be falling in any more!" He smiled.

Cloverstar followed the other leader's example and rose to her paws. She trotted over to him to press her muzzle against his shoulder. "A couple of days it is then," she mewed and smiled slightly as she headed to the edge of the rock to jump across. She looked back over her shoulder to Soulstar. "Too true," she mewed. "No more falling in!" she called just as she misjudged her leap and landed in a shallow part of the water. But, due to shock, her legs buckled from under her and she fell under. She was back up in an instant, coughing slightly because of inhaled water and dragged herself onto the shore. She shook off quickly, sending water droplets flying in every direction. Still dripping slightly and with her fur beginning to spike together from the moisture, she turned around and looked sheepishly up at Soulstar. She'd gone and embarrassed herself again.
