The sun was dipping low in the clouded sky. The air was moist and the rolling clouds overhead held newleaf showers that sometimes turned into dark storm clouds. Though rain was a possibility it didn't stop the brown tom from climbing the mountain side to look from high a boulder. Dusktalon loved the view day or night and this evening was warm because of the moist air. He was glad that leaf-bare was coming to a close and the snow was melting more and more as the rain cloud rolled in to wash it away. With the warmer weather always came prey and a full belly. His muscles ripped under his fur as he gave a leap to a high standing boulder. He stood tall and looked over. He wondered if anyone was around. He wasn't exactly the talkative one and was more uptight but he felt good right now. The calm before the storm.

Pitter, patter rain splashed on a she-cats nose the female sneezed in response. Two pares of bright blue opened and confusion danced on the cats face.Wait what? where am I? Looking around she realized she'd dozed off on a bolder. She shook her pelt to no avail as the small drizzle slowly drenched her again. What time is it is it morning or night?. Puzzling over the answer she was surprised to see a shape moving towards her.
Squinting Whisperwind identified the cat and smiled."Hello there Dusktalon good..." she trailed off completely time less. She figure he knew it the sun was rising or setting but she wouldn't ask him just yet. Scrunching her body up she jumped down to join the tom.

ooc:oops sry I though I posted here... must not have gone through.
Dusktalon heard the sneeze and though it was wet and drizzling abit of tthe she-cat's scent reached him. Her voice further confermed his thoughts. "Good evening Wisperwind." He said as she trailed off. With the constant rain and clouds covering the sun it would be hard to tell if night was approaching. The drizzling rain clung to his dark fur like dew on leaves. The she-cat them appeared beside him. "You enjoying the wet weather?" He asked. He wasn't sure how to start talking.

evening. She relaxed a little glad Dusktalon had filled her in. Looking off to the distance she almost didn't catch what he said."The weather.." she ponderd it for a secound."Not really sure if am enjoying it I guess not you?". Shaking her pelt again she tried to rid herself of the rain. "Ahh well at least this rain brings flowers" she smiled at the thought of the beautiful fragile things.

Dusktalon looked out onto the land. "I see. Well I'm not particularly fond of the rain myself... I guess it does bring flowers though." He said then amusement hinting in his voice. "I makes things grow and then prey comes out. Without it I suppose we'd all starve if the prey left the forest in search of food." Dusktalon then sighed out loud. "Though I hope it stops soon." He continued before silenceing. He then shook himself a bit trying not to spray Whisperwind with the water clinging to him.

She started out listening to him but his voice faded as she began to day dream about the wonderful flowers that would be blooming. Realizing her had finished she smiled."You talk to much " she giggled. Then she stepped back as he tried to rid himself of the rain. "Cant do that less your in a dry place you'll just get wet again"

Dusktalon finished his attempt to releif some of the wetness on his pelt. He then stood there watching the falling rain, as he waited for Whiperingwind to reply. The sprinkle of rain recollecting on his dark pelt. The wind was whispering to him, even if he couldn't understand it as he stood. *You talk too much.* She then answered him. The tom cat had to smile even a little bit. Talk was something he wasn't the best of, but apparently he now spoke too much. Whisperingwind then commented on his attempts to free himself of rain. "True, but it rids me of some water." He then stated. There was an overhang below that he could and his clanmate could escape to, but he wasn't ready too as of yet.
